The screen flickers like a dying star,

whispering the last breaths of love.

A name still glows in midnight hues,

but no warmth lingers in the touch.

Fingers hover—hesitate—betray,

hover—hesitate—delete.

And all the memories spiral out,

like constellations lost to time.

Was I the burning light in your orbit,

or just a dim ember fading fast?

Did I fall first, or did you push me,

away from all we used to be?

The stars don’t answer, only watch,

as silence swallows what remains.

Now, ghosts of pixels haunt the dark,

each message a meteor that never lands.

Your voice, a vanishing signal—

felt more in absence than sound.

I map the ache in galaxies,

trace pain across imagined skies.

Your gravity pulled me blind,

until I forgot my name in the drift.

Still—I flicker. Not gone. Not whole.

Waiting to burn or be reborn.

I speak to shadows through the glass,

where once your words bloomed like novas.

Now, the silence clicks back like a lock—

a seal against everything we were.

Static hums a funeral hymn,

threading loss through signal and skin.

I wear the last message like a bruise,

its timestamp etched into my orbit.

Time dilates around your absence,

stretching hours into falling comets.

I search for meaning in digital dust,

but it vanishes with each rebooted dawn.

Some nights, I become the void—

a vessel for echoes, unformed and unnamed.

Your gravity lingers, bittersweet,

pulling poems from me like blood from flame.

Still—I flicker. Not gone. Not whole.

Waiting to burn or be reborn.

But next time... the flame will have my name.
